What will this Position will Offer You? You will,as part of ManTech’s Integrated Logistics Support & Services (ILSS) contract, manage readiness operations in support of the Left Behind Equipment (LBE) program and Pre-Deployment Training Equipment (PDTE) program. The RFM is responsible for planning, organizing and executing field maintenance of all maintenance significant items including Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) and implementing vehicle Low Usage Program (LUP) and ensure that Class IX repair parts for inducted unit’s vehicles are picked up from the Supply Support Activity and provided to the Source of Repair (SOR). This position will manage scheduling of periodic maintenance and services, dispatch of passenger, cargo and combat vehicles, requisition and exchange of repair parts (if applicable) and use and dispose of petroleum, oil, and lubricant (POL) products. RFM will Supervise Readiness Management Supervisors (RMS), prepare readiness reports and write and update internal SOPs for maintenance areas. Additionally, the RTC coordinates for emergency recovery and repair of all equipment, manage the Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS), unit calibration requirements (as required) and unit level oil analysis program (if required). List of Duties: * Oversee all readiness section activities and management operations. * Account for and catalog all equipment eligible for maintenance tracking in SAMS-E system. * Track equipment readiness reporting and service schedules. * Provide representation at readiness meetings hosted by client, SOR, and applicable contractors and local agencies/organizations. * Implement a LUP for the LBE. * Manage site PMCS and vehicle inspection program, in support of LUP and receipt of equipment from SOR. * Manages the receipt of Class IX for inducted vehicles and coordinates the transfer of the repair parts to the SOR. * Manage the receipt, issue, and turn-in of unserviceable repairables. * Supervise vehicle dispatching process through subordinate managers. * Manage maintenance readiness reporting (Army Material Status System - AMSS). * Analyze maintenance trends and develop/coordinate measures with maintenance support activities to meet LBE program goals. * Manages Readiness Section in all assigned tasks and ensures all necessary counseling and evaluations for section personnel are completed IAW Corporate, Program and Site policies. * Establish and enforce shop fire and safety programs, ensure that environmental protection procedures (to include spill response plans) are established and followed in all maintenance activities and direct emergency recovery and repair of all Unit equipment. * Establish internal procedures to receive, issue and store tools, parts, publications and POL products. * Establish, direct and supervise procedures for turn-in, receipt and exchange of repair parts and accessories. * Direct the establishment and operation of Unit shop stock lists for field repair and maintenance related operations (if required). * Prepare and conduct briefings to site Program Manager (PM), government clients and customer units. * Additional duties as assigned by the PM. * Additionally, will need to provide assistance as needed or directed, with all processes dealing with inventory procedures to include: equipment inventory layout, component list inventories, sub hand receipts and shortage annex procedures and relocation of equipment and materials.
* Bachelor’s Degree Perferred * 7- 10 years experience * Must be a U.S. citizen * Have skills similar to an Army Warrant Officer CW3 through CW5 915A/E, Unit Maintenance Technician/Support Maintenance Technician. * Candidate must be highly qualified with general supervisory experience and must have prior experience similar to a Battalion Motor Officer. * Candidate requires expert level experience and proficiency with SAMS - E and tasks associated with running Unit Maintenance Operations and must possess knowledge of standardized maintenance regulations (specifically DA Pam 750-8, Functional Users Manual For The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS), policies, procedures or other written or verbal instructions relating to receipt and/or issue of equipment/rolling stock.
