Intralox, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., and a global provider of conveyance solutions and services currently has a Mold Maker position in the Engineering Mold Shop. This shop specializes in building rapid prototype injection molds to support the research efforts of 5 new product development teams. Utilizing the latest CAD/CAM software, CNC machining centers, sinker/wire EDM's and grinders, our mold build times are generally 2-4 weeks.

Responsibilities
  • Program, set up and operate all equipment in assigned workcell (grinding, VMC or EDM)
  • Quality assurance inspection of all parts coming and going from workcell
  • Provide time estimates and daily updates on assigned tasks
  • Interpret mold component drawings for form, fit and function
  • Maintain workcell equipment and tools
  • Continuous learning of techniques to improve overall mold making process
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a mold maker or other applicable experience
  • High school education with good math skills, including geometry and trigonometry
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Desire to work in a learning culture to expand skill sets across all mold making functions
  • Self-managed and high sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Must know how to read blue prints
  • Good computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office Applications)
  • Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stable work history and good attendance record
